The Pursuit of Happyness

Have been feeling happy these days. :)

I've watched "The Pursuit of Happyness" on Friday night 1120pm. The main actors are Will Smith and his real son. It is a touching story on how Chris Gardner is determined to be a good father to his son, despite of tough circumstances. He went through very tough moments but through perseverance and hardwork, he made it in the end! PTL! Nothing is impossible. "Never ever let anyone tell you that you can't make it, not even me!"

I've read "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" by Mitch Albom.
I finished it on 2 late nights. :P
I thought it would be a story that tells Eddie the impact he made on 5 people.
But it was not really so.
A few of the people he met are people who died because of him or for him.

Eddie got to know why certain things happened in his life. I guess heaven will be a place where your "Why?"s are explained.
But I do not understand the part about the little girl who died... I guess that was to explain why bad things can still happen in our lives. And yet, your purpose in life doesn't get negated just because bad things happen because of you (unintentionally).
The book does show that there's a purpose in and for everything and all our lives are connected one way or the other. And all these can happen only because God exists.

I want to buy the "Tuesdays with Morrie" book to read.

Hehe, heard Liu Geng Hong sing "彩虹天堂" and "因爲有你" at church today.
So nice! Haha, I could almost sing along with it cos I like those songs. :)
Vivi and him are really a matching pair of pretty gal + handsome guy! And both love God a lot! And they are really making an impact in their worlds.
One day, that will be me and my partner!

Work is going to get busy.
Cos we are going to go full steam to prepare and implement CMS on the stations' websites.
It is both a scary and exciting thing...
But God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. So I shall look forward in faith. And yes, I have to work hard for sure. May the creativity and wisdom of God be upon me! I will arise and engage pop culture and fulfill the cultural mandate!

Valentine's Day 2007

This Valentine's Day, I did not have a special someone to celebrate with again. :P Haha!

And yes, I hope next year, it will be different! =)
That I will have my xin1 ai4 de3 ren2 to celebrate Valentine's Day with.
I want flowers. :D And how about a nice balloon? :P
They are very expensive on Valentine's day, right?
Haha, you can be creative to make me happy in other ways too if you do not want to spend a bomb! =)

I went with my 2 colleagues at 8+ to Adam Road Hawker Centre.
We ate stingray, sotong and kangkong. Yum yum!!!

Then went home after that while 1 of them went to pass boyfriend a present, while the other went home to wait for boyfriend.

They were very sweet, they bought me a rose! =)
So nice of them!!! Muahz, H and K!

So my Valentine's Day is to have a Valentine to celebrate with next Valentine's Day. :)
