Blabber...

Duno why I have to think so much these days...
Or am I too lazy to think? Oh no!!!

Well, some things are supposed to be very simple...
But yet I have to think...
I feel that perhaps I am not ready...
Gosh, am I ready or not?
Another one asked me how come I am not going ahead...
Another person say perhaps it is not tht I am not ready, but I am not ready for a specific situation.

I do not know the answer...
God please reveal to me...
And can I have more time to find out please?
How much time is enuff?
I do not want to waste your time and hurt you.
Maybe 1 month's time?

Anyway, I just need to have more time at the moment...

I can't figure things out.
Or am I afraid?
Or are you not the one?

Somehow, my heart is touched, but my head is not convinced...
Will wait for revelation and confirmation.

You dun have to understand this post, cos it is just blabber for me. :)

MNG and XDD

Was just jokingly asking my friend (MNG) to bring back a German Xiao Ding Dang (XDD) since MNG is going there.

Didn't expect to get it cos I seriously don't think that they will sell XDD there.
At most I tot, unless MNG can get toys clothes for XDD to wear. Then perhaps there will be a German XDD... But I was wrong, MNG was even more creative than that...

Excerpt from MNG cum XDD's blog:
"Sponsored an air ticket to send Do-Rae-Mon (XXD) on a trip to Germany. This enabled the said someone to actually and honestly find a Do-Rae-Mon (XDD) in Germany. "

Don't know how to explain it to you but the blog of XDD is really nice cos the XDD is really cute and there are many pictures of XDD! And of course it is super sweet of MNG to do such a thing.

*Am touched* :)

Love languages

Just did a test on my Love languages. Not super sure if it is super accurate but Quality Time is definitely my number 1 love language. I like hugs but I like receiving gifts and encouragement too!

The Five Love Languages

My primary love language is Quality Time.

Complete set of results

Quality Time: 10
Physical Touch: 9
Receiving Gifts: 5
Words of Affirmation: 5
Acts of Service: 1

Information from the website of the quiz

Unhappiness in relationships, according to Dr. Gary Chapman, is often due to the fact that we speak different love languages. Sometimes we don't understand our partner's requirements, or even our own. We all have a "love tank" that needs to be filled in order for us to express love to others, but there are different means by which our tank can be filled, and there are different ways that we can express love to others.

My miracle on 29th April (Sat)

It was the Easter offering weekend (to give to the poor and needy - a large % to go to those outside of our church).
I believe that my giving has sparked off the miracle.

On the friday nite (28th), we went to celebrate April's birthday.
After dinner and over coffee, April brought up the topic of Taiwan Emerge Mission Trip. She asked me if I was going. I said I wish I could, but I can't becos of the lack of finances. Then I asked her if she was going. She said she don't think she can cos of her job (she might be posted to HongKong by then). Then I said she can still try, cos God can open doors. Then we ended the conversation. Through the short conversation, I felt in my heart that there was a chance that she had the desire to sponsor me to go. And I secretly hope in my heart that she would do that. But I also quickly ended that conversation topic.

Do you know what happened on that Saturday?
After service, April passed me something. It was folded but I know that it is a cheque.
I kept in my bible. I can't help thinking about it. When I had the chance, I looked at it and wow! The amount is great! And God is really great! He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you can ask or imagine! (Eph 3:20) I am amazed by her and by God. And I am really thankful cos I can finally step into the land of my parents. And after July, I can tell people that I am a Taiwanese and I had been there. Praise the Lord!!!
And yes, April gave me more than the cost of the trip. She gave me much more and has really blessed me.

Just last Tuesday, my cg leader msged me to help inform the cg tht the cost of the Taiwan trip is now reduced to half as they have found cheaper accommodation at a school hostel (instead of hotel). So I messaged all in the cg. 2 of them were keen and signed up. 1 of my cg member was really excited and I am glad that she wants to go. She was saying something about the cost and also if she can take leave as she does retail and the trip would be during the GSS period. I told her that I will pay for her trip if I only have to pay the reduced price for my own trip. Cos I really feel that just as how my friend blessed me to go, I wanted to bless her to go too. I better hand her the cheque soon so that she will be completely assured with the blessing.

God is good!
I want to challenge you to dare to think and imagine what you want in your life.
Cos God is able to make it happen for you!

I like what Dr Phil Pringle says. "God will make you successful not despite of who you are; but He will make you successful because of who you are."
That's how important you are to Him and shows that He really has a plan for your life.

Long May day weekend (cont'd)

I'm at the clinic again...
I think I really have to go on a diet of no fried food, plus rest more or something...
Cos I am really giving my throat problems too often...
I really pray that I can get well real soon!

Since I promised to tell more about my Mon (1st May), I shall just finish it off.
Played about 2 hours of beach volleyball with a self made court by friends.
Then the sky turned colors so we knew that we gotta go. So we went up to the chalet nearby cos they said got places to shower there. But to our astonishment, the shower place there was under renovation. We stayed there at the shelter for 1/2 hour or so cos it started to pour.

Then after that we saw a group of people who came to the shelter and they looked like they shower, so we sent 2 scouts out to recee. So they found tht got place to shower, but tht was to use the hose in the toilet... We have no choice. So some of us decided to use that to shower, others decided to just clean up. After all that, 1 of the guys discovered that actually the rest of the cubicles were shower rooms. We really a had a great laugh after that man!
Cos the 2 scouts only saw the 1st 2 rooms during the recee... The rooms further down were shower rooms. But I am glad that I only cleaned up and not showered cos I don't know how clean the water was + the guys said that sometimes there wasn't water supply as the water was shared among the different toilets. :P

After that we went to the Sakae Sushi at Sentosa to eat. Tot of going there before but haven't had the chance. But it is not that nice as I tot it would be. Anyway, they had this private room which we asked to use. But they told us that it was closed, and after further asking from us, they said that it was reserved. And then, 1 of us kept note of the time that they said the room was reserved. And apparently as we expected, no1 came. We could have confronted them cos they lied... Think they are really immature to lie man! Must be young in the trade. Haha!

I wanna tell you more always

Always wanting to blog more but no free time in front of the computer...
So not able to give more details on what I continue with for that long weekend.
And another long weekend is over.

But am so very happy to read Miss Li's comments...
I really like to hear from people. :)
And on what you asked, "So if they do not show any changes would we still go on and doing what we believe in??". Once again, I decide to crucify myself to lay down my life for this cause.
- To set the captives free from the prison of their mind.
Miss Li, continue to be powered by Jesus and impact the souls in your life!

This is my supporting verse:
Luke 4:18 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."

I like what this guy "Jonathan Tang" said about CHEC in his testimonial - "A place where hope is found and 2nd chances are given". Similarly, CPC is like this. :)

Gotta really continue another time. =)
Stay tuned...

Long May day weekend

Let me just do a short blog...

I like to read comments of people on my blog.
Maybe I should ask more questions so that people can answer me. Hehe!

The long weekend is over...

I recalled that I blogged last May... My blog is more than 1 year old liao...

Weekend started on friday night with a birthday celebration.

It is for a lady called April and whose birthday is in April.
Went to Waruku at Marina Square to eat.
We bought her a nice bouquet of sunflowers.
And wow, she treated the whole group of us to that dinner. So blessed!
Then went to Starbucks for drinks. I managed to buy her coffee and developed photos for her.
She looks especially good with a natural shot that I took for her.
Then finally, we surprised her with a piece of cake and candle, and sang her a birthday song. She was really surprised man! So happy that we managed to make her day!!! It gives me such a satisfaction. :)

Then started Saturday late...

Went for service, then dinner/supper with my cg members at Bedok Blk 85.
I paid for the drinks (finally i had the chance to do that, cos the others always pay for it).
Then after that, one of my cg members bought us satay.
Then the other guy treated us to the Bah Chor Mee.
Man, I am so blessed!
I finally ate the famous Bah Chor Mee, it was good! Yumz...

Sunday started early...

Went to Expo at 915am. Sat in for the rededication bible study that Egwin gave for my 2 dear sheep. Then attended service again. This time, the message was even better than last nite's.
It was on PASSION!!!
Mark Conner said: "Enthusiasm & Persistence will make a average person superior."
That's so true!

Brought my 2 dear sheep to see Bro Darren.
Then went with them to makan with their cg, want to give them the chance to fellowship with the fellow brothers and sisters there.
Had a 10-minutes lunch.

Then went to the place where God's dear people get a piece of heaven.
It is a place that I go almost every single Sunday for almost 3 years or so.
It is a place that you can see the move of God. The place has been changed by the power and glory of God throughout the last few years and is still changing...
The change is slower on the level that I go to, and sometimes it can be rather discouraging to see the change taking effect so slowly. But Gal 6:9 says "do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not lose heart". This verse has been very much a verse for me always. Anyway, thanks to God we are starting to see the changes thru praise and worship now. We only had 5 people at our level that day. So, another gal and I took p&w. Thank God that He turned up with His presence! =) And as usual, Bro D shared a powerful word that spoke to the brothers. PTL!

Went for dinner and movie with 2 friends.
And praise the Lord, my friend and I were blessed with free dinner and free movie by the other nice friend.
Wau, God's showering blessings on me man!

Monday started quite late...
Was supposed to start earlier. :P
Made my friend wait at Coffee Club for me for quite long.
Had lunch with together before we went to join my other friends at Sentosa Siloso Beach.
My friend's friends actually set up their own beach volleyball court with bamboo sticks, tapes and strings... Impressive! Cos the whole structure was rather strong! Power of creativity!

Hmm... No time liao... Let me tell you about the rest of Monday and Saturday's powerful testimony another time ok? :)
