A meaningful article from a forwarded email...
People come into your life for a REASON, SEASON, or LIFETIME.
When people come into your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, or to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a Godsend, and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fufilled; their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.
When people come into your life for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never known before.
These people may seem like a Godsend as well, and they are as well. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy and understanding. They are loyal and will be there for you. Believe it. It is real. But only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson. Love the person/people who are trying to teach you something regardless of if you agree with them or not; and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. These people will be there for you for the rest of your life - and are very loyal. They will help you through the darkest hours, and be there to share in your brightest moments. God is the only guaranteed lifetime friend, but he will definitely provide you with other potential lifetime frienships. It is said that love is blind, but friendship is clairvoyant.
Each person comes into our life for a reason, season or lifetime. Always be thankful that God has allowed you to know such awesome people. But regardless of what each person is in your life for (a reason, season or lifetime), be thankful that you have been given the opportunity to know that person.
Just think of all the people who don't know that person, and will never get the opportunity to know how incredible they are. Be humble in having these opportunities in your life, but be sure to take notice of it.
Friends, a big thank you to you who have been a part of my life! You are greatly appreciated! Hugz
